The Australian National Maritime Museum holds the country’s leading collection of maritime artefacts and one of the largest museum collections of floating vessels in the world.
Peter will takes us through the main museum and vessel displays with some focused commentary and time for questions. We will also spend time in the Vaughan Evans Library, which contains local and family history information as well as maritime resources. Some Marrickville related items from the museum’s collection will be on display for inspection.
The formal tour will be one hour, but you may remain in the museum as long as you wish.
